Detailed itinerary of 2 days Amboseli national park

Day 1: Pick up from your hotel in Nairobi and transfer to Amboseli national park  

On the first day of the safari you will be picked from your hotel as early as 06:30 am after morning breakfast and drive to Amboseli national park, from Nairobi to Amboseli national park it is a drive of 4-5 hours covering an area of 215 kilometers. Upon reaching the park you will have lunch then go for a game drive in the amazing plains of Amboseli national park, as you drive in the plains covered by savannah grasslands you will see animals like African elephants, lions, leopard, grant’s zebra, spotted hyena, giraffe and many more. After a 2-3 hours game drive you have an evening picnic where you will enjoy scenic sight of mountain Kilimanjaro, at the end of the day you will go to your hotel, have dinner and spend the night.

Day 2: game drive and transfer to Nairobi

 The second and last day of the safari you will wake up for early morning game drive after breakfast, you will drive to the park’s headquarters and start your game drive after briefing. Morning game drive lasts for 2-3 hours where you will see many animals like elephants, buffalo and many more. After the game drive you drive back to Nairobi where you will reach in the afternoon, once in Nairobi you will have lunch then you will have your dropped off either at your hotel or airport marking the end of your 2 days safari.
